At long last, I am BEYOND excited to share this sneaky peeky of my new album with @chinekeorchestra and @kevinjohn.edusei. I’m just a wee part of this huge and glorious celebration of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, but OH how lucky I feel to have been asked to record his delicious Violin Concerto with my friends. 🥰 We made this recording in April of 2021, a little over halfway through my pregnancy, at a time where I was feeling — maybe for the first time ever — a real belief in my playing and an inner confidence that made me feel like I had outer superpowers. So I dedicate this one to Tico, my tiny superhero: thank you for coming on this ride with me.
