My time at kamp was filled with dutch braids, brooms, hand sanitizer, canoes, chipped nail polish, and the lost & found. I’ve seen trials & I’ve seen tears but I’ve seen love & growth & fun!!! Yes I was challenged but yes I was refined!!! The Lord snuck up on me in ways I never expected, He showed me that everything can be a ministry, He showed me that many are the things that must be daily done. But He also showed me that my good works are dirty rags. He met me in the doing of the small, repetitive tasks; In the cleaning and ordering and maintenance and stewardship of things— of floors, of dirty hands, of carpets and toilets and mirrors. He showed me that He makes no distinction between those acts that bring a person the wide praise of their peers and those unmarked acts that are accomplished in a quiet obedience without accolade. Praise God for correction, second chances, heart changes, and new lessons! Don’t deprive yourself an encounter with God by not doing hard things!!! #FTK 🏕️ 🍭🌲🏄🏼‍♀️🚣🏻‍♀️🌞🕺🏾🪩
