i don’t often talk about this, but if i could pass as a woman — i would⁣ ⁣ however being 6’5”, i will always be coded by society as a man. there is no medical solution to make me look “passing”⁣ ⁣ living in this body has made me realise that trying to achieve norms of gender set by cis people is a never-ending battle⁣ ⁣ this is not to say trans OR cis people shouldn’t change their bodies to feel comfortable within themselves. it’s your body, do whatever you want with it⁣ ⁣ this is to say that conforming to gender norms, as defined by cis people, does not make someone better than another. it does not make someone more trans than another. it does not make someone more beautiful than another⁣ ⁣ and in a world where being gender non-conforming places me in constant danger, i am reminded of just how much power i hold over those who seek to stamp out difference⁣ ⁣ i am a gender non-conforming non-binary trans fem proudly gender confusing babe. get bloody used to it⁣ ⁣ thank you to the incredibly talented @asafeghalib for capturing my superpower⁣ ⁣ makeup by @vivianemelomua⁣ 1st look by @berthauss⁣ 2nd look by @beril_0ktem
