She has had seizures since she was 2. At the age of 5, she stopped using her front leg, so we took her to the vet. They X-Rayed her and said since she was the runt, she got stuck in the womb. Her arm bones (radius and ulna), one stopped growing, so it was deterroriating into her body. So our choices were to amputate or do a $3,000 surgery that may have to repeat. It took us awhile to make the right decision for her, but, obviously decided to amputate. The vet told us that it’s us humans that are more worried about an animal’s amputation than them, they feed off of our energy and emotion. We brought Bailey home the day after surgery and she went right up the stairs like nothing happened. And we have loved her even more ever since. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🥹🥹🥰🥰💙💙
