EUROPE 2024 - The End… This trip was a once in a lifetime adventure and I couldn’t be more grateful to have had the opportunity. Over the span of 40 days I travelled to Germany and Italy, seeing the most beautiful sights and meeting some amazing people along the way. The first three weeks were spent doing a bit of “solo travel” and travelling with my family seeing places important to world history and more importantly to me, places where my family history remains. The last three weeks were spent studying in beautiful Tuscany with @belcantotuscany . I had the opportunity to learn and perform in Italy with the support of the most amazing faculty and colleagues. On this trip I learned more than I could ask for about these countries and my family but the biggest thing I learned about was myself. I learned what I am capable of and about the person I want to be. I grew so much on this trip and thank each and every person I met along the way for the piece of me that has changed because of them. I leave Italy feeling sad but also most inspired and excited for what is to come. Saying goodbye wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I anticipated being homesick and excited to return to Canada. I expected to want the comfort of home and as much as I am excited to be home and missed my family and friends so much, I’m also now deeply missing the beautiful places and people I met on this adventure. I truly met some of the most beautiful human beings on this adventure and have left feeling quite inspired by them all in different ways. Ciao Europe… for now!
