Posted @withrepost • @thesundaypress Sunday Supper is hosting it's 3rd popup highlighting Vietnamese cuisine. Food has always been the focal point for Vietnamese culture and the language of love that has been passed on for generations. During the early stages of Vietnamese immigrants coming to Houston a widely known restaurant, Quan Ba Tho, was located in the original Little Saigon where Midtown sits today. In present time the grand-daughter of Ba Tho, Thy Mai-Mitchell, followed in her grandmother and mother's footsteps and is a restaurateur today owning the popular restaurant, Traveler's table with her husband. Sunday Supper is collaborating with Thy's mother, Lan, to feature her notorious Banh Cuon, rice paper minced pork dish, Roostar owned by Ronnie & Linda featuring an at-home favorite, Bun Cha Hanoi inspired by their trips to Vietnam, & Sunday Press will feature Sandy Nguyen's mom's infamous Bun Bo Hue. D'usse will be sponsoring cocktails.
Don't miss this exciting pop-up charity event benefiting I'll Have What She's Having highlighting Breast Cancer Awareness Month on October 2nd Sunday at 7pm. Tickets are linked in bio!
