Opening the hips 🀎 It’s already day five of #PreaceAlover and we’re opening our hips and sharing how we release stress and find peace. 🀎 I went with a bound split that opens both my shoulders and hips, two places in the body that we commonly store tension. The bent back leg intensifies the stretch to the hip flexors and the arm variation opens up the shoulders. This pose requires preparation in my body, so before I attempt it, I open my hamstrings, hip flexors, shoulders and spine. 🀎 I release stress by moving my body. Not all movement gets me out of my head, though.
