This musical featuring the talents of choreographer Bill T. Jones and rapping genius Black Thought was adapted from George Schuyler’s 1930s satirical Afrofuturist novel. With biting, often hilarious send-ups of the era’s icons, this is a classic work that still has much to tell us today.
