I almost can’t believe it... It’s been two years since I took a huge leap of faith and opened Haven Hair Studio. So many things have changed in my life and in my business in the past two years. Here are just a few things I’ve learned... •You can’t make everyone happy. So sometimes you have to give your best professional recommendations, and keep your boundaries, and make peace with the situation. •Running a business by yourself is difficult and there will be days where you just need a break, and that’s okay. •Don’t underestimate the relationships that can form with your clients, some of my best friends have started as clients and I don’t know where I’d be without them. •Accepting help is hard but necessary. As your friendly neighborhood control freak, I wish I could be able to do it all on my own, but that’s just not the case sometimes. •Everything is a learning opportunity. Whether that is from taking classes or a bad decision in your business, there is still so much to learn. I am so grateful for the support of my friends, family, and clients these past two years because I truly could not have done it without you. The Lord continues to amaze me in how He’s working in my life and I can’t wait to see what’s next for me and for this business. Thank you so much for all of your love and support🤍
