My partner has made a little bird and would like me to show you! I don’t think it’s of a specific bird that actually exists, but as you can see it’s really fun and confidently coloured. Just to remind us why we’re all actually here - I am an artist who specialises in making complex moving birds carved out of wood and this little guy does absolutely nothing. It is however ‘thickly’ painted using my own high pigment oils and she seemed to have a great time making it. 4cm tall including the base it would no doubt help brighten up a dark shelf somewhere.
