Brown Butter Maple Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies✨🤎
Ingredients:
~Pecans:
1 tsp butter
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
~Cookies:
1/2 cup butter, browned
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp Táche Pistachio Milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
To make the maple pecans, melt 1 tsp butter in a small saucepan, then add maple syrup, vanilla, and chopped pecans. Stir to combine over medium heat until the pecans start to caramelize, about 5 minutes. Take off heat and set aside.
In a different small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over medium heat, stirring continuously until the butter starts to brown, about 5-8 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, add the brown butter, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, Táche Pistachio Milk, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the flour, rolled oats, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and mix until just combined.
Mix in the chocolate chips and maple pecans.
Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet about 1” apart.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy on the edges and slightly gooey in the middle.
Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool on the pan for 5 minutes before serving.
