✨THE 10 BEST THINGS I ATE AND DRANK IN LOS ANGELES IN MARCH✨ 1️⃣ Dumplings with Cherries (Varenyky) @ Fusion Kitchen, Mid-Wilshire @fusionkitchenla Cherry dumplings may sound crazy, but I was NOT prepared for the amount of flavor literally bursting out of these sweet and savory pockets. 2️⃣ Smoked Seared Bluefin Toro @ Saijo Hand Roll & Kushiyaki, Culver City @saijohandroll This new hand roll spot is opening tomorrow, and if you order one thing here, make it this melt in your mouth, smoky bite. 3️⃣ Mugwort Duo @ Rōk, Koreatown @rokcoffeeandtea K-Town’s newest cafe might be going viral for their Stagger double matcha dupe, but I liked this earthy mugwort version even more! 4️⃣ Salmon Crudo @ The Lonely Oyster, Echo Park @the_lonely_oyster There’s a new chef at this seafood spot, and he might just be a genius — I never would’ve thought to put VANILLA on a crudo, but it blew my mind. 5️⃣ Plain Bagel + Green Garlic Cream Cheese @ Boichik Bagels, Los Feliz @boichikbagels This NY bagel spot recently opened in LA, and it totally tasted like home. The classic Lox will always be my favorite, but this Green Garlic Cream Cheese impressed me the most. 6️⃣ Za’atar Man’oushe @ Ladyhawk, West Hollywood @ladyhawkweho With nutty za’atar on a 48 hour fermented dough, this take on a Lebanese street food stood out even amongst a great meal. 7️⃣ Elvis in Hawaii @ Lucky Tiki, WeHo @theluckytiki Every drink at this speakeasy hidden above the historic Tail O’ The Pup was a showstopper in both flavor and presentation, but this PB + banana sip has my heart. 8️⃣ Dialog Breakfast Burrito @ Dialog Cafe, West Hollywood @dialogcafe This breakfast burrito with kielbasa sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, hash browns, and spicy ketchup definitely lived up to the hype. 9️⃣ Piston Pizza Tank @ Gastro Garage Full Throttle, DTLA @thegastrogarage Yes, there was also wagyu beef on the menu, but this tasted like a gourmet pizza roll... aka 10/10. 🔟 Patate Fritte @ Mother Wolf, Hollywood @motherwolfla Evan Funke hear me: PLEASE add these to the menu separately from the $200 steak. They’re too good to only be enjoyed by a privileged few. #thingstodoinla #lafoodie #losangeles #bestfoodla
