Surreal, like a dream. I can’t help but feel a little teary eyed as I write this: For 7 years, I’ve been present to every Marry Me at Marriott fashion show; not as the featured designer, but as a plus one on the guest list. My dreams, day and night, were filled with visions - visions of me presenting my bridal collection on their most prestigious stage, which has housed only the most revered designers. I submitted my portfolio twice, and was denied twice, as well. Though broken-hearted, I pulled myself together, licked my open wounds, and tried harder. This year marks my debut, an absolute dream come true. ✨ I cannot thank my supporters enough, those who fought for me, and believed that I was finally ready.
