On August 18th, 1969, #ninasimone performed in NYC's Central Park for the final week of the Schaefer Music Festival. This performance occurred the day after Nina's unforgettable appearance at the Harlem Cultural Festival ("Black Woodstock"), which took place in Marcus Garvey Park (known at the time as "Mount Morris Park"). Pictured in this image is Nina performing at the concert on 8/18/69, which took place at Wollman Rink.
