I sit and watch the tourists walk past in Laguna Beach and realize I’m now one of them; the life I had here seems like another lifetime ago. I’m here this weekend without kids and without an agenda, just taking in the sea breeze and taking a real time out for myself. You know what I found? I miss my kids so bad it hurts. 2) life always has a way of seeping it’s way into quiet moments to create a commotion. This LDW masterdate brought a new level of respect for myself as I remind myself that enforcing boundaries means telling yourself “I love you”... and with that reminder I check off another “life-lesson” box... and this heart grows a little bit wiser. 🤍
