Last week, we screened the nine winning films for Local Love Letters, co-presented with @miamibeachnews, at an outdoor event at SoundScape Park. It was an evening of celebration and a testament to the creativity and talent of our film community. If you missed it, you can still watch the films until Friday. The films are: “Toxic Beach” by Abhi Chatterjee-Dutt (@ab.hi), “La vie” by Al’lkens Plancher (@societeproductions), “I Care About Your Mailbox” by Andres Gimenez (@ourcamp.us), “How to make a movie in Miami” by Carla Jerez (@carlaj_42069), “FIRE MOON RISING” by Felipe Aguilar (@felipeaguilarart), “It Had To Be You “ by Juan Barquin (@woahitsjuanito), “South of Fifth” by Karla Caprali (@karlacaprali), “Loveboat Takeout” by Melanie Wu (@melaniewuu), and “Letter from the Age of Ecocide” by Shireen Rahimi (@ageofecocide) .
