Wow. What a time to be alive! It's been a week and I'm still shook from it all. I'm sure I speak for the whole #SavageBeauty team when I say I am humbled and truly grateful. Full circle. There are many that have poured into the cup of who I am today, but I want to focus on this one special mentor, just for today. Last week the majestic Houghton hotel hosted us for our screening, when I arrived at the event I saw a picture that completely stumped me. Four years ago, I was fortunate enough to attend drama summer school abroad. I was blessed to be a beneficiary of a generous man who made that experience possible. I was stumped by his picture, a picture I hadn't seen since he passed. I was immediately reminded of all the things I told him I'd do and that he'd see it all. And here I was, at my first premiere, at the hotel he built, experiencing one of these moments. Unreal. He wasn't there in person to celebrate that moment, but he sure as hell was in spirit, taking in that first premiere with me. The stars aligned and made sure that the event was held at his spot.
