SHE OWNS HER SUCCESS #SOHS A stunning way to close off Women’s month with an all-male panel or as @musakalenga calls it; a manel. Joined by the incredible @bonglez and moderated by the joyous @sherlinbarends. The entire day was spectacular and you can still get all the resources, tools and watch the live sessions. If you need a snapshot; here it is from my perspective: 1. A closed mouth can’t be fed - speak up and do it afraid. 2. The future isn’t female; it’s feminine! 3. You are enough! Just show up... 4. Stop multi-tasking, prioritise and manage expectation 5. If you don’t do politics, politics will do you! Have political intelligence - will and skill. 6. Treat work like work, not like school (Men get promoted on potential, Women get promoted on track record) 7. What’s the difference between a genius and stupidity? Genius has a limit - Einstein 8. Do the best that you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better. 9. Just because you’re scared, it doesn’t mean you’re not ready. 10. Be a blessing to everybody you meet!
