A girlfriend of mine suggested instead of writing a New Years resolution this year, I write my own future eulogy. Seems morbid so I was obviously super into it. Here’s hoping it will read like this 🪦 Kirstie Jeffrey Tuben passed peacefully at the record age of 150 last night in her sleep after visiting her 100th country. She is survived by the thousands of animals she helped rescue, her boundless friends from all over the world & her family who she requested to keep private as they all were dedicated to living life offline. She’s joining her life partner Ben in eternal rest because obviously she outlived him with all the pilates & adventure hiking she participated in. “Kir” is remembered through her legacy of photographing thousands of happy couples on their wedding days. Photography was more than a vocation but a calling for her. That legacy will live on as couples continue to experience joy at her nationally acclaimed venue. Her last will & testament stipulates that her massive estate will be absorbed by Equality Now, Rise Up, Planned Parenthood and UN Women. Funeral music will be exclusively 2000’s emo, dress code will be blush & tulle. Sushi & French 75s will be required catering. She lived an authentic beautiful life full of joy, sunlight, travel, love & community.
