ATTITUDE AWARDS 22 💙 a fabulous night celebrating the most fabulous & inspiring people breaking boundaries within our queer community, always such an honour to attend the @virginatlantic x @attitudemag awards in partnership with @jaguar 🙏🏽 The look I chose to wear for the carpet was curated by @ella.i.douglas, a designer that has struggled with a hearing impairment, the look taking inspiration from sound reverberations and hearing loss aids, with the shoulder/silhouettes mirroring the hearing aid structure that sits behind the ear, and the boot covers replicating the muscle support braces her dad now wears after suffering from a stroke It felt really important to me and always has done to use fashion as a communication, as a way of curating a message and making a statement to encourage a conversation raising awareness to subjects we wouldn’t usually speak on!
