💔 Another Queen has left this world. Genius Dame Vivienne Westwood died today at age 81. When I was 18 I had the great privilege of working in sales with Vivienne Westwood to bring her collection to the strongest most iconic women in Los Angeles. I had the great honor of sitting with her and sharing my dreams of being a designer. She actually listened intently as I shared how little I cared for the idea of fashion school. She spent a good hour talking with me about her take on that idea and her path, and encouraged me to “ to dance to the beat of my own drum” as she so greatly modeled in her own career. I remember her as incredibly Elegant, soft spoken and her words remained the some of loudest most inspiring words I would ever hear.
