It’s been a wonderful year of being back home and being around the people and places I love. This year had a really rough start but working with Alvin et al at Amboy has brought me back to life. I knew I was burnt out from before but it didn’t occur just how bad it was until I started coming out of it. This was probably the most challenging year in a while and I think I got out of it mostly unscathed but in the process I got to step back and do a lot of fun things. I started making @polvocookie (which yes I know I need to get back on it, it’s just been a very busy last couple months lol), did a couple fun popups with SUGBA, and oh yea, hot dogs 🌭! I guess life is a lot like hot dogs - sometimes you get minced and mashed up and squeezed into tight spots, but at the end, you end up a glamorous glizzy so it can’t be all that bad. Don’t hire me for your next TED talk. I’m just glad to be where I am and surrounded by the people in my circle. Thankful for my people and my city that brought me back to life.
