This year marked the 49th annual @WMYConference, Wharton's longest running student-led conference. 🎉 Hosted by the Wharton African American MBA Association (@BlackAtWharton), the conference celebrates the advancement of Black business and civic leaders and honors innovators through programming like the New Venture Competition Awards, Small Business Series Grant Awards, and Whitney M. Young Fellowship Award. This year’s theme, “Advancing Black Legacy: Onward & Upward”, was underscored by a $3 million donation to the African American MBA Student Support Fund, which supports fellowships and experiential student experiences, and the introduction of the one-time Hettie Simmons Love Award.
