. . . . For many of us in the breast cancer community there’s many days when we look in the mirror and we don’t recognize ourselves. Surgeries, medications, hair loss, bloatedness, so many body changes. . . I couldn’t believe that after having a surgery to go “flat”, I would be approached to help introduce this beautiful new collection from @target for women like me and my breasties. . . I have never worn a bathing suit by itself in my life and I have not been in a pool, swimming with my family in almost 2 years. Between surgeries and my excessive bleeding since chemo, swimming had been put on hold and I honestly didn’t know if I felt confident enough to try any on with this new body.
