SIX months of nursing my son. I’m so grateful we made it this long. Knowing that I would have to go back to work and all of the challenges that would present on top of the basic struggles of breastfeeding, I knew that I would be grateful for any amount of time we were lucky enough to have. Breastfeeding my son has been one of the most beautiful and challenging times of my life. It is more beautiful than I ever imagined and while we have had a relatively easy journey the struggles that it has brought have surprised me so much as well. I believe that FED is 100% best, and I support each persons journey to feed their children. I’ve spent hundreds of hours pumping thousands of ounces for my son and I would do it over and over again.
