In my understanding, the closest to God’s love we may ever experience in human form is that of a Mother...and in this life I have not only been BEYOND blessed with my own mother’s love but also of this wonderful woman who came into my life when I needed her most. She has helped to raise our children right alongside us & taught me so much about what it means to be a mother. We have held space for one another when it felt like our lives were sometimes falling apart and we have celebrated every victory that has come along. We have had disagreements and misunderstandings but we have never lost respect for one another and through it all, we love each other dearly. But I think the greatest love of all is watching Momo with all our babies (Gio included who turned 6yrs old the year we all met) and how her heart has quadrupled in size. We have a running joke here and it’s that every time I would tell her I was pregnant she always followed it up with “mi nuh know how mi a go love dis one more dan how mi love *insert name*” 😂 and every single time, without fail, it happens. It’s not her birthday or anything, just another day around here in the Mitchell house but I wanted to just lift her up in love and celebrate her for all the love and light she has poured into our family for almost 11yrs now. We love you MoMo. By the way, she loves this song so much but today, I heard it in a new light. ☺️
