PLS DONT CONFUSE THESE WITH HORSE CHESTNUTS/BUCKEYES/CONKERS!!! ... anyway 😅 Who knew a story about trees could be filled with so much drama, heartbreak, disaster... and then hope? I could go on about the american chestnut 5ever if given the chance, but i’ll try and keep it short here!! Also i got to see the stump of an old american chestnut at the earthworks and teared up like a dummy 🥹 i know it provided for so many during its life, despite it being cut short.
