Visit the Audain Art Museum to experience the exciting exhibition teaser for 'Out of Control: The Concrete Art of Skateboarding' in the Upper Gallery. Andrew Dadson is one of five artists whose work is on display in the teaser, and one of nineteen artists in the entire show - of which the downstairs component will open on September 17. Andrew Dadson's 'Cuneiform' series addresses an underlying textuality to the city by drawing attention to the edges between private and public space. This is one of one hundred photographs in the series of glue remnants found in streets and alleyways. Dadson's ongoing project produces a typology and collective abstraction out of the gestures of the anonymous individuals whose NO PARKING, NO SKATEBOARDING, and NO LOITERING signs have been ripped off the walls of alleyways and parkades.
