Hand-knit accessories designed by knitter Christine Hassler-Brandt Growing up in the Bavarian Mountains, Christine Hassler-Brandt was surrounded by grandmothers, mothers, and uncles who all knitted. What started as school-taught handwork in the 60s, she has recently picked the knitting needles back up after years of being an herbalist and therapist. Inspired by the mountains of Northern California, where she and her husband, Jean-Pierre, live - they create art that reflects their love for life and travels. For Christine, knitting is a form of meditation that encourages her to remain present.
