SOURCE OF INSPIRATION. Sol and I created “Source of Inspiration” as a homage to Hans Van Manen; a huge influence in both our dancing careers. A stoic stickler to style and ethics is Hans. Genius, Generous, Stubborn as hell! We learned and gave ourselves from and to him. Professional/personal relationships flourished betwixt us over these 35 years we’ve laughed, created and sweated together. Joyous therefore to bring SOI back to life in the Nureyev Gala in the Vienna State Opera House @wienerstaatsballettofficial tonight.
