I know I'm never active enough on my social media, especially on my feed posts. I always feel the pressure for it to look so aesthetically pleasing, but the truth is, business ain't that. In fact, most of the time I'm in tears and my comfies! It's long days, little rest and lots of mistakes. I don’t go into work with a slick back pony, perfected lip liner and a manicure. I go to work with brushed hair (occasionally) bed socks & with my 3 dogs, but the main part is I show up. I show up for my dreams, I get up early, I make my bed, I drink some coffee and I begin working on my future. I stopped searching for the person who was going to change my life and started looking closer in the mirror. So from now on my Instagram is going to be my diary. Unapologetic , not scripted, just me. Sometimes it feels like social media has to look a certain type of way to be acceptable, to be praised but F*CK THAT! When I have my children I want to be able to show them that’s how your mum shown up and got paid out. Positivity is a superpower.
