I rarely share my work on IG, but this was a milestone I had to post. My first printed styled work in a major publication @elledecor . 🥹 I got to work with a dream team of Black Creatives in my field for this shoot. People I admire, people who are like family, people who’ve believed in me and I them. Im so proud to have a shared project with one of my closest friends and most brilliant writer I know: @cokhio To team up with @frankfrancesstudio incredible eye behind the lens & @liv_demetros impeccable attention to detail on the screen just like old times made my heart so full. And most Importantly to Niya & Anishka of @ishkadesigns, for believing in my talents enough to accent their own brilliant vision. It was also an honor to work in a Haitian / Pakistani home. To see BIPOC excellence with a shared heritage does wonders for the soul. It reminded me that my dreams aren’t too big, that my talent is enough, that I too can strive for beauty in a world that constantly tells me I don’t deserve. So grateful for this experience. And maybe in the future I’ll try to share more 😅. The Internet high key stresses me out so I be hiding lol. But I have so much work the world hasn’t seen and some things you probably have but didn’t know was me. I’ll work on that. ✨
