So humbled. I know it’s all random chance. don’t believe in meritocracy. I believe genius and success are emergent properties and individuals like us are merely conduits for ideas that come out at the right place and right time. So I’ll just say, im grateful to have existed at the right place and at the right time. To have been repelled and thrown through the centrifuge of life enough times to have attracted the right people, friends, collaborators, and conspirators. To have an audience and world ready to fully recieve our film on the other end of it all. 50millon isn’t much when you compare it to most blockbusters, but it’s enough for us to get to make another one, and that’s all that matters. So thank you. I’m stepping from social media for a moment. I want to remain grounded, continue doing the work, and reclaim some of the hours in my day I’ve lost recently.
