Recap of some of my favorite moments this week in Washington, DC, while lobbying for healthcare workers. 1. Heading to the final briefing, feeling GIDDY & just overwhelmed with emotion. I truly feel this is what I’m meant to do. I’m overwhelmed by your comments & support. I see you, I hear you, THANK YOU. 2. Final briefing with the @wearfigs team, I felt so supported throughout this entire process. It was incredibly empowering. 3. & 4. THE DREAM TEAM. @dr.pamelamehta @jordinrice were my incredible partners in this. Each meeting we truly felt the representatives were engaged & struck by our stories. We have already received feedback that affirmed the stories we shared made an impact. It was incredibly validating. 5. FaceTiming my tio who was in an airport in Dominican Republic & showing him the halls of Congress 💜 6. & 7. Speaking alongside an incredible group of Awesome Humans at the White House & advocating for comprehensive legislation for healthcare workers. 8.
