Although I’m makeup first I’ve been doing this so long I’ve learned a lot from other talented hair people in my orbit.. for instance- in the reference photo the model is blonde. My model had dark hair- dark hair absorbs light.. thankfully she had shine and dimension to catch the light, but you have to rely a lot more on texture with dark hair.
