#platinumjubilee Her Majesty the Queen’s work has touched many lives, including mine. Receiving the @queensyoungleaders award provided a platform to amplify the Dominica Dementia Foundation as I founded this charity when in memory of my grandfather. I’ve also met incredible young and senior leaders all over the world doing amazing things for their communities. As I dived deeper into social impact work, I also personally developed strong leadership skills and attributes. I was introduced to the The @queens_commonwealth_trust when I wrote a letter to Her Majesty after #Dominica was left devastated during Hurricane Maria in 2017. With the trust support my team and I were able to support all the carehomes in Dominica. QCT has been instrumental in broadening my knowledge on other social issues as well as expanding my network of global changemakers. I was also in touch with @qejubileetrust, my work alongside other young people across the Commonwealth was featured in the Lasting Legacy book upon closure of the trust. In 2017, I congratulated Her Majesty on being the longest reigning monarch, now she is celebrating 70 years of service! An incredible hallmark to achieve. #HM70 #queensyoungleader #dementiaawareness
