Its Christmas time so I had to post this Pineapple glazed ham again because it came out so good. Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and happy holidays. Enjoy this special time with your friends and family #maligayangpasko 1ea cooked bone in ham 7-8lbs 6C pineapple juice 3C sprite 2C dark beer 1C light brown sugar 2Tbs salt 1 medium onion halved 6-8 cloves garlic bruised 4 bay leaves 8 whole black peppercorns 8ea cloves Combine all the ingredients together in a stock pot and simmer for 2 hours. Remove from pot and reserve 2C of cooking liquid. To the liquid add: 1C crushed pineapple 1C light brown sugar 2Tbs mustard 2 whole cloves Cool down to a glaze consistency. Score the ham and brush with glaze. Bake for 1 hour making sure to glaze every 20 minutes. After one hour, switch to the broiler and broil the ham until nice and browned. Please keep and eye on the ham as it can burn easily.
