What I eat in a day- first trimester edition! I'm making this video because this is the video I needed to see before pregnancy. That it's okay to ditch what we've all trained our bodies to know and love about health and nutrition and just surrender to your body and what it needs. First trimester fun facts: -carbs till lunch. putting almond butter and banana on a couple rice cakes was my attempt to healthify it a little ha. and thank god for three wishes. my average was one box every 5 days haha. - only food aversions were to salmon, eggs, and cooking. I had no energy to cook and couldn't even fathom the house smelling so it was just a no go. - oh and. No vegetables. Not averse just didn’t want them. - Cravings- other than carbs-- NOSTALGIA. the amount of times I texted my mom telling her I had a dream about her lasagna or baked ziti, and how I missed gluten... ive honestly never missed gluten and I like my lifestyle but I was dreamingggg of all the foods I used to eat. I literally threatened to fly home because I wanted a slice of pizza from my childhood pizzeria. - i'm grateful that I actually realllyyyyy craved meat at lunch and dinner. chicken/turkey/beef. - if there was a shortage of chips or fries in LA I apologize. I was hogging them. Anywho, I'm essentially midway through the second trimester and i'm still VERY hungry but thankfully not a ravenous animal like before.
