The problem is not the name brand clothes. The problem is parents set the expectations and get children accustomed to wearing only name brand when they’re babies/small kids...when they get older into their pre teen/ teen years they expect their style to change or not be the same because it’s more expensive because they’re bigger. Yes, we want our kids to dress nice, but if you can’t afford to keep it up, don’t start it.
