Last year, @cole_schafer had this gorgeous idea; a festive holiday party that would raise money and also create teddy bears to give out to kids that are stuck in the hospital during the holidays over at @vumcchildren’s. I jumped on board and this pretty thought became a reality. We just had our 2nd Annual @teddy_bear_ball on December 10th where we built teddy bears with @buildabear, danced to jazzy classics sung by the fabulous legend @nantyjan, drank holiday cocktails, ate bites from some of Nashville’s best spots, karaoke’d with @santaspub, AND raised $100k that will help pay for another trained facility therapy dog and handler for @vumcchildren. (There is one resident black lab named Squid who works at the hospital and brings so much emotional and physical support to not only the kids who are needing some comfort but also to the tireless staff and families going thru tough times, too.) It’s a night and cause that I’m so proud of and I couldn’t be more grateful to all our wonderful sponsors and friends for making it all possible. Already dreaming up things for next year...! 🧸 Xx
