Heading up the new urban design capability at Pegasys Consulting, Barbara has practiced and taught as an urban designer and spatial planner for over 25 years. She specialises in designing for regenerative urbanism with a focus on urban design that improves social, economic and ecological resilience and places people first. She co-authored the first spatial development framework for Cape Town, initiated the Dignified Places programme and has contributed to the NACTO Global Street Design Guide as well as the Copenhagen Agenda for Sustainable cities. #womeninarchitecture
