Today I got my 4th stripe! This one means a lot to me - after being off the mats for over a year and focusing on recovering from mental illness it wasn’t easy to step back on. I’ve been trying to overcome so much insecurity, self-doubt and frustration and jiu jitsu has helped me do better both on and off the mats. My academy @gregorgraciejiujitsu has been the most welcoming home I could ever ask for, and it’s such a huge honour to learn from my professors @gregorgracie, @alessandrobandeirajj and @arthanbandeirajj.
