A real dilemma here Took me a lot of effort getting this JDM EUROU bumper (shop name is Eurou, not "European spec") here to Canada. This is my dream bumper for many years, and you probably think it only looks like a rep oem "99 spec" bumper. The reason why it's so unique and desirable, in my opinion, is EUROU actually improved the 99 design by smoothly shaving the JDM license plate bulge then slightly enlarge all the air vents to make everything looks proportionately pleasing. In my opinion, that's far superior than all the rest of "99 reps" out there. The problem is, after spending days working on the fitment and panel gaps, then some nice paint jobs, we still couldn't get the color of the bumper right. The fresh paint is slightly brighter than the rest of the car. To color match white is hard, even by the same painter who painted my car, with the exact same formula and mixture. Considering the car is covered in ppf and was painted 5 years ago. The difference is extremely minimal, I'd say it's 98% matched but the 2% is driving me crazy 😈 Should I keep pursuing my idea of minimalism? Or it's time for the Eurou bumper to find a new home?😩 #rx7 #rx7fd #fd3s #sub60racing
