The lore of 18th century whaling ships and its seafaring men says a female figurine must guide the helm of the ship to safety. The siren will either guide the sailor home through treacherous waters, or lure him into the rocks to his death if he doesn't respect the laws of nature. Our Siren was inspired by the female figurehead in the bar at the Sister Ship in the Faraway Hotel @farawayhotels, whose female captain led ships of 18th-century sailors on voyages to exotic locations around the world. The Siren is a mythical creature, she represents adventure, seduction, and a safe haven to rest your head when you find your way home. #LadyoftheRings
