W E L L N E S S \ my self-care looks a bit different these days... cold plunge anyone?🧊🧊🧊 AND yes, this is the song I listen to during the 4 minutes, singing the entire way through🎶 WHY a cold bath you ask?? There are many benefits for health & performance: + increased energy & focus + enhance mood + increases metabolism + builds resilience & grit + muscle recovery I learned about cold exposure 7 years ago when Luke (my hubs) started his journey from the great Wim Hof. Now I am at a point in life where it called to me... yes, I want to actually get in the cold!😝 I NEVER thought I would however I’m at a point in life where my health and wellness is my priority👌🏻 I’ve already experience many of the benefits - increased energy, mood and resilience. Postpartum anxiety and my journey with motherhood has pointed me in another direction in my life which I’m deeply grateful for. Purpose, pace and presence is the mantra I now live by.
