Regardless of how current times might make us feel, there’s Nothing in life more relevant than love, giving it and receiving it. Lately I’ve been trying to take one day out of the week to reflect, to remember loved ones no longer here in a physical form, and especially to be thankful for all the new and old experiences. I was a 19 year old kid coming from Puerto Rico when I had one of the most important musical experiences of my life, playing and learning with mentor the Great @eddiepalmieri A unique NewYork story, but rooted in the Caribbean, with a Puerto Rican idiosyncrasy. This week I’m thankful for being able to listen, remembering so many great memories, and for sharing last night @yoshis_oak with one of my biggest inspirations period. It was also great sharing the experience with some of @sfjazzcollective brothers, and shoutout to Eddie the Second for being so kind to us! Maestro, Thank you for the many lessons and for always embracing me with genuine love.
