🤓Nerd Alert🚨: When I finally out an EV charger in (thanks to @erictingwall and @wallboxchargers), strategic placement was essential. Proximity to main panel? Inside the garage? Outside? Behind a gated fence? Ultimately chose inside the garage, on the street side of the house, precisely for this use case; charging a work car while leaving the driveway free for the wife’s PHEV. Seems only convenient for EVs with charge ports on the right/back/nose of the vehicle, and is dependent on curb availability. This is the first of three EVs I’ve brought home since installing that has worked out. Now let’s see if I get complaints from neighbors or the city about the cord laying across the sidewalk.
