First off, best time ever!! What a dream to ride @provinggroundstour! My first freeride contest experience was a total roller coaster. I felt really good riding the whole week. The line I picked was so fun to ride! The wind and weather put up their challenges. But every rider pushed through it. The course was amazing. The whole field of riders is so stacked. I’m blown away at the level of riding. Heavy! In the end it was bittersweet for me. I knew I had a competitive run to qualify. Unfortunately, I didn’t deliver on the day. Crashed in my first run and had to bet it all on the second run. Still didn’t put down the run I dreamed of and just missed out qualifying. Rode practice the morning of finals just to ride some more and thinking of the long shot of getting an alternate spot. Then had a bad crash on a trick I do all the time that ended my weekend Ironically, I find out right after my crash that I would be able to ride the finals due to riders dropping out. Doh! Despite my mistakes this weekend, it was so fun and huge learning experience. Thank you @transitionbikes @nitrocircus @fasthouse_bike @sensusgrips @deftfamily for the support!!
