It’s @realscottmills and @chrisstark ‘s last day on Radio 1 today. They are the best to have ever done it. Scott has been an inspiration to me FOREVER. I listen to him in awe everyday. I’ve learnt so much from Scott, and have often thought ‘what would Scott do?’ when hosting my own shows. He’s a radio genius, and has also been an unbelievably kind, funny, warm and welcoming mentor. He is going to smash it in his new gig at @bbcradio2 - they are so lucky to have him. Chris Stark is the most creative person I’ve ever met. No one has made me more consistently jealous, and made me more hungry to do better features and ideas with my own shows. His creativity sets the bar so impossibly high, the rest of us can only dream of occasionally reaching it. His ability to turn small observations into big ideas is unique, and he’s probably the smartest person working in radio. The @capitalofficial breakfast team don’t know how good they’ve got it with Chris on board. I’m crazy grateful that I’ve gotten to work alongside both Scott and Chris in their time at Radio 1. They are irreplaceable, and I’m going to miss them- both as a friend, and as a listener. Have a great final show boys. 👊🏻
