Freshly 40 🥂👙💦 Had a pool party thrown by my besties yesterday and then dinner with my family. I went to bed before this birthday really not excited to be turning 40, it’s hard to push the stigma of it out of your head but idk I woke up with a perspective shift. My girls ran into my room and jumped on my bed to hug me, say HBD and tell me they cleaned the playroom as a surprise. The sunshine was pouring into my room, I had three little happy people clinging to me and all of a sudden felt really at peace and excited about being able to step into this new decade healthy, with my beautiful girlies, a loving family and friendships that I truly cherish. *I will be referring to myself as 40 years young though. 😉
